SCIT 2

Chapter 2: Drug Poisoning Case (1)

“Off duty!! Team Cheng, you said this weekend was on the house!” A group of people in the police station was in an uproar.

This Friday, a few days ago the first team of the criminal police team just worked overtime to solve a major robbery case, Cheng Jin promised to treat them, “go ah, where to go? KTV?”

“No, today we’re going to Xie Du!” Xie Du is a bar, they agreed to go to the bar to spend a lot of money.

“Xie Du? Then my salary this month is not enough for you guys to drink, so I don’t have to eat!”

“Head, the meal is easy to handle, this month’s meals are on us.”

“Then what else can I say? The bar isn’t open this early either, so you guys treat me to dinner first.” Cheng Jin laughed.

Everyone wailed, they had to pay for dinner first before drinking wine, everyone made up their mind to drink the whole night and must not return.

Cheng Jin went there occasionally, and he also knew Wang He, the boss there.

As soon as their group of plainclothes entered the bar, the boss rushed over to greet them, “Brother Cheng, how are you here today? ”

“The police also have to take a break for entertainment. Came over for a few drinks.” Cheng Jin smiled. The boss is in his 30s and a few years older than himself. When he sees him, he calls him Brother Cheng. Cheng Jin doesn’t bother to correct him.

“Ah, welcome, welcome, free order today, I’ll treat you!”

“No, if you really want to be exempt from the order, they will think you are committing a crime. Tomorrow, the anti-pornography team and the anti-drug team will come to you then.”

“How can this be? This is a serious business and there are absolutely no illegal services.” Boss Wang was anxious and hurriedly expressed his thoughts.

“Okay, I understand that. “Cheng Jin interrupted him, “I really came here for a few drinks. I promised to treat them. They have come to you to spend a lot of money. Go ahead and do your own things. Just let them play by themselves.” Hearing what he said, Wang He walked away with confidence, and when he left, he told the waiter to entertain them well.

The bar was very noisy. After Cheng Jin was poured a few glasses of wine by his colleagues, he felt that the noise was unbearable. The colorful lights also made people dizzy. Cheng Jin excused himself from his colleagues and walked to the corridor to get some air. As soon as he stood against the wall for a few seconds, someone came over to strike up a conversation. Cheng Jin smiled: “Sorry, I have to go to the bathroom.” He went to the bathroom and washed his face. After coming out, Cheng Jin turned around and went up the stairs on the left. There was a man standing at the entrance of the stairs. Cheng Jin glanced at him when he passed by him. The man also happened to look at him. The two of them locked their eyes for a few seconds, and Cheng Jin followed the stairs to the roof.

There are usually a lot of people smoking or doing other things on the roof of the building. After going upstairs this time, Cheng Jin only saw one person. This person was only wearing a black shirt in this late autumn, and only one or two buttons were buttoned up.

Cheng Jin thought it was a little funny. Maybe the other buttons were undid by the women below. The man walked towards Cheng Jin and smiled: “long time no see.”

Cheng Jin recognized him as soon as he approached him. After so many years, he could still vaguely see what he looked like back then, still with slightly curly hair, white skin, and pointed chin. When he was young, he could be described as good-looking or beautiful, but now he has to be described as handsome or attractive.

Cheng Jin also smiled: “Yeah long time no see.” Subconsciously, he felt that sooner or later they would meet again, but he didn’t expect it to be 12 years apart.

The man stretched out his right hand: “I am Yang Simi”

“Cheng Jin” Cheng Jin also stretched out his right hand and held it up, “How are you now?”

Yang Simi held Cheng Jin’s hand, it felt warm, he couldn’t help but hold tightly, “I went to help you catch those robbers a few days ago. ”

That operation was helped by people from the special forces, Cheng Jin was a little surprised: “Are you in the army? ”

“No.”

Cheng Jin smiled and didn’t ask again. He must have chosen a profession that could legally kill people. Only one of the robbers was captured alive that time-still seriously injured, and the other five were all killed. He asked: “Did you see me at that time? ”

“Hmm.” Yang Simi didn’t expect to see Cheng Jin. As a result, he was distracted. One of the robbers missed the key point, so he didn’t die.

Cheng Jin saw that he was still holding his hand and didn’t let it go. Fortunately, no one came upstairs. “Is that your friend at the entrance of the stairs?”

“The person who followed me, I told him not to let anyone come up except you.”

Cheng Jin was startled. At first glance, the man looked like he was also a member of the army. Following Yang Simi was definitely not protecting him. He should be watching him. Cheng Jin has been worried about this all these years- he asked Yang Simi to pretend to be a normal person, and if Yang Simi was really considered normal, would the hospital let him be discharged from the hospital? Will there be any serious consequences? Now it seems that his worries were superfluous. Yang Simi’s family is not an ordinary family, and he has found a way to prevent him from hurting others.

Yang Simi touched Cheng Jin’s face with his left hand: “It’s warm”

Cheng Jin laughed: “Well, I’m still alive.” Immediately he stopped laughing because of Yang Simi’s hand sliding on his neck. Cheng Jin thought that if the two of them fought, he should be able to fight Yang Simo evenly now. His fighting skills have always been the best in the Public Security University, and he has had a lot of practical experience outside in the past few years.

Yang Simi loosened his right hand, put his right hand on Cheng Jin’s waist, and took a step forward. The two of them hugged each other by the neck. The two of them were about the same height. Yang Simi tilted his head and felt Cheng Jin’s carotid artery pacing under his lips.

Cheng Jin was very uncomfortable by the heat he exhaled on his neck, and pushed his shoulder: “Hey, normal people don’t do this ”

“Hmm.” Yang Simi responded, still not moving.

Cheng Jin secretly thought to himself that Yang Simi’s behavior should be to express closeness or affection to the same kind he agrees with. Yang Simi is like an animal, abandoning human emotions and leaving only instinct.

The two stood quietly hugging each other, and the screams and uproars downstairs broke the calm that had only been for a moment.

Cheng Jin and Yang Simi looked down from the guardrail. Someone fell from nowhere and was pierced on the pointed iron fence in the backyard of the bar.

“You help me watch here, I’ll go down and have a look.”Cheng Jin ran downstairs. The people in the bar were still drinking and dancing and didn’t hear the sound outside at all. Cheng Jin found his colleagues and asked the two of them to go to the backyard to see the situation, and then asked the two of them to guard the door of the bar from letting people out, and then asked one person to find the boss and ask him to wait to help maintain the order, and then assigned two people to check the above floor to see from where the person jumped.

When Cheng Jin rushed to the backyard, Wu Jian and Li Mingjie were there to maintain the scene. Wu Jian said, “Team Cheng, the ambulance will be here soon, and the people in the bureau have been called to help.” Cheng Jin nodded. There were too many people in the bar, and these people would definitely not be able to control the scene on their own for a while, so he asked them to contact the bureau at the beginning.

A young man in his twenties was strung on an iron railing, and blood flowed along the iron railing. Cheng Jin stepped forward and checked his breath. The man was still alive. Cheng Jin frowned and thought: What should be done in this situation? Sawing off the iron railing?

There were two people next to him. Cheng Jin asked the staff of the bar. They all said that a person suddenly fell from above. Cheng Jin asked them if they saw which one it was. They said it was the second one, because as soon as the person jumped down, someone at the window screamed and leaned out to see. Cheng Jin called Li Mingjie: “Xiao Li, go up to the second floor and talk to Lao Zhang and the others.”

Wu Jian in the back was stopping a person: “Sir, I’m sorry, you can’t go over now. ”

Cheng Jin looked back at Yang Simi and motioned to Wu Jian to let him in, “What? Did you see anything?”

“Apart from this person.” Yang Simi looked at the person hanging on the iron railing, “There are three more people, two are here, and one has gone to the bar owner, who is now maintaining order at the front door.”

“Are you not cold?” Cheng Jin looked at his fair skin. With fair skin exposed to the outside, he didn’t look like a special forces man who is exposed to the wind and sun every day, “Button up!”

Yang Simi looked down at his clothes, buttoned all the buttons, and looked at the man again, “This person won’t survive.”

The sound of the ambulance got closer and closer, and soon medical staff came in. They all sighed and shook their heads when they saw the scene. This situation was difficult to handle. Later, they decided to cut off the three iron bars that penetrated the man’s body. Before long, the man had no breath, and finally the body was taken back by the police forensic doctors.

Cheng Jin and a team of people were busy all night. The preliminary conclusion is- the young man most likely drank too much and then jumped downstairs impromptuly. It was nothing to jump off the second floor. People who are lucky can even be unscathed, but he was unlucky and became a skewer. The friends who were with him said that he was crazy tonight, and there was nothing abnormal about the others.

Cheng Jin didn’t know when Yang Simi left that night, and he only found out that Yang Simi was not there when he was about to leave.

At noon the next day, the forensic results came out, saying that the deceased had a toxin with hallucinogenic effects in his body, which meant that he might have been poisoned even if he hadn’t been stabbed to death. The drug test results of his friends were normal, and just like what they said before, they really just got together for a drink.

The victim’s name was Zhou Hai, and Cheng Jin asked someone to check his family status to see if he had any drug use or other suspicious behaviours.

Cheng Jin remembered that two days ago, he had heard of a case in the third team of the Criminal police Team. A man named Liu Chang in his thirties suddenly ran into the middle of the highway and was hit by a car. After investigation, it was found that that person had a criminal record of taking drugs, and later the case was over. Cheng Jin wanted to go to the third team to ask about the situation, but Ge Yue, the captain of the third team, had a bad relationship with him, and even the people of the third team had a bad relationship with the first team. Cheng Jin didn’t want them to think that he was trying to find fault. Cheng Jin thought for a while and asked Wu Jian to go to Liu Chang with him to ask about the situation. If he has nothing to do with the current case, it’s best. If he has something to do with it, he has to report it, and then he will have to offend the third team.

SCIT 1

Chapter 1: First Encounter (back story)

(T/N: I’ve no editor for this story for now)

Cheng Jin believes that the important turning point in his life was when he was 14 years old.

At the beginning of that year, the plane his parents were on crashed, and neither of them survived. After hearing the news, his grandfather suffered a heart attack and died.

In the blink of an eye, his family was destroyed, leaving only him and his grandmother dependent on each other for their lives.

His grandmother was in her 60s that year, and her health was not very good. When the bad news came, the old lady took care of everything in an orderly manner, because she knew she couldn’t fall down yet, or what would her young grandson do without her.

At this moment, Cheng Jin felt that the sky was falling down, and after a few days in a daze, he remembered that his grandmother was still old but had to deal with the affairs of his parents and grandfather alone, and had to take care of him every day. Overnight, Cheng Jin realised that he should be an adult, and he would take care of his elderly grandmother in the future.

People can put a smile on their faces and pretend to forget the pain, but those injuries are clear in their hearts, and they are even more bloody in the dead of night.

Cheng Jin couldn’t sleep every night. When his grandmother fell asleep, he would secretly go out and wander aimlessly in Qianming City. When it was almost dawn, he would go home exhausted, sleep for two hours, and then get up to buy his and Grandma’s breakfast. Before going to school he would eat with his grandmother.

This situation changed at the end of the year. Cheng Jin felt that someone was always following him in those days. Looking back, except for the occasional car driving by, there were no pedestrians at all. Cheng Jin didn’t see anything strange. He still took a regular walk outside late at night and went home when it was time.

One day after Cheng Jin felt that he had been followed for almost a week, when he was walking through an alley that night, he suddenly felt a palpitation¹.

As soon as he turned around, he was thrown to the ground. Cheng Jin struggled with the person who attacked him. When the scuffle² started, Cheng Jin’s eyes were already used to the darkness. Even if the attacker put the sportswear hat on his head, he could still see clearly that this was a boy about his age, so he sighed in relief: “Hey, what are you doing?”

The boy was startled, probably not expecting that not only did he not curse, his tone was also quite gentle, and he couldn’t help but loosen his grip.

Cheng Jin realised many years later that he was really ignorant and fearless. Cheng Jin saw that the boy seemed to be about to let go, so he let go first and pushed the boy: “Let’s get up first, it’s weird to lie on the ground. ”

Both of them got up, Cheng Jin patted the dirt on his body, and suddenly felt a tingling stab in his neck. Cheng Jin was a little angry this time: “What the hell is going on with you?”

The boy only took two steps back without speaking.

Cheng Jin soon felt a little dizzy, he touched his neck: anesthesia? Only then did Cheng Jin feel the danger. Looking around, the alley was quite long and desolate. The broken buildings next to it should be uninhabited.

Soon Cheng Jin’s hands and feet were a little disobedient. He knew that he couldn’t run, and it might be useless if he shouted. It seemed that he deserved it, and he actually walked to such a desolate place suitable for crime.

Cheng Jin staggered against the wall, still hesitating whether to shout a few times to try, he looked at the boy- he was wearing sportswear, sports shoes, and the logos on it were all famous brands, but he was still outside late at night like himself, more serious than himself, he even wanted to commit a crime. The boy looked at him quietly, as if waiting for Cheng Jin to lose consciousness.

Cheng Jin sat down against the wall and asked the boy, “How long will I lose consciousness? 10 minutes?”

The boy didn’t speak, but took two steps closer.

“Come and have a chat. It’s boring for you to stand alone, isn’t it? What do you want to do? It doesn’t seem to be robbery, you want to kill people?”

After the death of his parents, Cheng Jin has been wondering why it was not someone else who died, but he never thought of hurting others.

The boy walked over and squatted down, “You are not afraid of me, but other people are very afraid of me. ”

“Who are you?” Cheng Jin wanted to see what he looked like, so he stretched out his hand to lift his hat. The boy didn’t stop him either. He just looked at him blankly in the faint moonlight. The boy had long and slightly curly hair, big eyes, white skin and pointed chin, like a beautiful doll, Cheng Jin smiled: “You are very good-looking. But if you stare at people like this, they will still be afraid. If you want others not to be afraid of you, you have to be a normal person.”Cheng Jin said in his heart: ‘At least you can’t care about giving anesthesia to strangers in the middle of the night.’

In fact, what Cheng Jin said was all about his experience. After the death of his parents and grandfather, Cheng Jin was expressionless every day.

Later, after a long time, he discovered that many of his former friends were polite and distant to him, and the teacher always wanted to help him with psychological counseling.

The world is the survival of the fittest.

Slowly Cheng Jin learned to pretend to show various expressions without showing any flaws, pretending to like the care of his friends and teachers, and pretending that the pain has diminished with the passage of time.

“Pretend to be a normal person,? I don’t know…how to do it, I don’t know how to laugh and cry.”

Cheng Jin was a little puzzled, is there a natural lack of emotions? Cheng Jin has also studied this aspect a little bit this year, because he found that he has no desire to laugh at things that others find funny. His feelings are numb, and it is difficult to feel that something is happy.

Cheng Jin smiled slightly and said, “It doesn’t matter, you can refer to other people’s expressions more, and practice more. You will soon form a habit of conditioned reflexivity.” He was also saying to his former self, it’s okay, you will get used to smiling soon.

The boy curled the corners of his mouth like he did, Cheng Jin smiled: “When you smile, you have to narrow your eyes a little bit.” Cheng Jin watched the boy adjust his expression, “Yes, it’s the same as a real smile. In the future, you can look in the mirror and practice more.”

“You know a lot, do you know why some people want to kill?” The boy also sat down on the ground next to him.

“…” Cheng Jin was sure that this boy was indeed dangerous, “I don’t know, you haven’t checked the information? Have you killed anyone?”

“Checked, psychopath, not yet.” The boy answered.

Cheng Jin was startled: “Do your parents know?”

“I don’t know, I only told my aunt.”

“Then what did she say?”

The boy kept smiling and said, “Then I have been in the hospital until now.”

Cheng Jin felt that his eyes were a little hot and humid. At that time, he was almost sent to hospital for treatment of psychological trauma. But his grandmother refused to let him go. He was very scared. He was very fortunate that he quickly learned to become a normal person. Cheng Jin asked him, “Then how did you get out?”

“Sneaked out.” The boy looked in the distance.

“You have to be well in the future, like a normal person, and then they will let you out of the hospital. You can go wherever you want at that time, but don’t kill people, or you will be locked up.”

“What if I don’t get caught?”

“You will be caught. You are wearing high-end clothes and shoes. You should also live in a high-end nursing home. Someone must be watching you every day. They must know when you run out.” When Cheng Jin said this, he suddenly thought that his grandmother might know that he came out every day, but she never said anything.

The boy was silent for a moment, then leaned over to sit beside him, “”It’s okay to be locked up, and I don’t have a place I really want to go.”

Cheng Jin’s hands and feet were numb at this time, but his consciousness was still clear. He didn’t know what he wanted to do in the future. He could only say: “If you keep living, you will have something you want to do.”

“You should be comforting me now. Right?”

Cheng Jin smiled. He felt that his facial muscles had become stiff now, and he didn’t have much strength to speak: “Well, actually, I’m comforting myself…. It’s cold, I’m sleepy….”

The boy touched Cheng Jin’s face. It was very cold. After a while, he finally felt it was still warm. He thought for a while, took off his coat and covered Cheng Jin, stood beside him for a moment, turned and left. In the cold winter night, the boy wearing only a shirt walked alone in the faint moonlight.

That day Cheng Jin slept in that alley until dawn. When he woke up, he found that he was covered with the boy’s coat. From time to time, passing pedestrians looked at him, but no one came to ask him why he slept here. Cheng Jin fell ill for a few days after returning home. He was cold and had a fever that night. Fortunately, it was not very serious and he recovered quickly.

Later, Cheng Jin never went out to roam at night again, and his grandmother’s eyes were no longer so worried when she looked at him. He had been to various nursing homes and hospitals to find the boy, but he never saw him again.

Translator’s Note:

There isn’t any specific description about the story by the author. They have just written the reminder as you can see below “Author’s reminder”.

This story has a crime investigation plot with a BL element. It’s quite interesting! This story has a total of 6 seasons with the same protagonists.

_

(Author’s reminder: The first season was written early and the story is short. It’s okay to take a look at it casually, but if you have already read a lot of case-solving stories, then this first season may not be interesting to you. If you want to read it, you can focus on the fate of the characters-the case is the carrier, and the fate of the characters is the soul.(T/N: I don’t quite understand this specific line “fate of the characters is soul”)

The story of solving the cases….I like watching crime solving dramas very much, so I tried to write a crime investigation story a little bit by myself!

Cheng Jin: He is good at observing people’s behavior and analyzing it, and ultimately achieving the goal of solving cases. ——It can be regarded as criminal psychoanalysis*.

Yang Simo: He has emotional defects and antisocial personality disorder.)

_

*Psychoanalysis: a system of psychological theory and therapy which aims to treat mental disorders by investigating the interaction of conscious and unconscious elements in the mind and bringing repressed fears and conflicts into the conscious mind by techniques such as dream interpretation and free association.

Ch 1: Why don’t you understand?

Warning: mention of self harm and abusive words

Just why? Am I not good enough?

Tring tring…tring tring….beep:
The number you have dialled cannot be reached….

Chen Xu stared numbly at the phone in his hand, the recent call log reflected in his peach blossom eyes. His expression was gloomy but a little unfeeling, seemingly like he’s used to this kind of treatment.

He walked to the floor to ceiling window and settled on the couch.

“Meng He, it hurts, why don’t you understand?”

Chen Xu’s voice was low and raspy like a painful whisper as though he did not have any strength left in him.

He buried his head between his knees and leaned against the arm of the sofa.

After five or so minutes of staying motionless he sat straight and looked in the distance aimlessly with empty eyes. The corners of his eyes were red, but no tears escaped them.

He weakly raised his hand and reached to grab the hairpin that had been clipping his shoulder length soft blonde hair back.

Chen Xu expressionlessly looked at the hairpin and then at his long slender legs. He reached and grabbed the bottom of the right leg of his loose pyjama and slowly rolled it up until his thigh was visible.

Slightly honey colored eyes traced his leg. The skin which should originally be  smooth and clean was marred by many old and new scars: some deep and some shallow, some long and others short.

The most recent cut was 4 days old and had now started healing, leaving a cracked scab on his inner thigh.

Chen Xu sighed in disappointment when he couldn’t find  room for more cuts, so he switched to his other leg. After taking a deep breath he started stabbing at his thigh. He sucked in a pained breath; his body trembled, but his hands didn’t stop. He looked down and his action halted. The skin was forcefully scrabbed, this time very deep. Blood oozed out of the cut, trickled down his thigh and dripped onto the couch.

The hairpin which was previously very exquisite with small shiny silver stones, was lusterless with a few remnants of skin, the silver stones now covered in red.

The hairpin fell from his hand and Chen Xu sighed in satisfaction leaning against the sofa. But this satisfaction was mixed with a little bit of guilt. Just four days ago he had promised himself that he would not self harm anymore, but now he did it again!

It wasn’t this severe before, but gradually he started feeling satisfied harming himself and in the end he got addicted to it just like a drug addiction.

‘But isn’t it better than drugs? No wasting of money on this addiction and still feeling nice. Ah it feels so good!’

He revealed a faint smile and closed his eyes.

After 10 minutes he gathered himself and cleaned the few drops of blood on the sofa, fortunately it was a leather couch so the blood didn’t leave a spot.

He glanced at his phone and once again called Meng He but to no vail.

He headed towards his room with heavy steps and weakly slumped on the bed on his chest. He hissed as he felt pain on his thigh.

Burying his head in the pillow, he closed his and buried himself in the sleep.

“Tch, freakin homo-“

“Hey don’t get close to him, he’s a faggot.”

“Stay away or else you’ll get his disease-“

“Fucking retard”

“Disgusting”

.

.

.

.

“Chen Xu, will you be my boyfriend?”

“But then they’ll think you’re disgusting  too”

“I don’t care, I love you.”

“En, Meng He! I love you too!!”

.

.

.

.

“Chen Xu, she’s my girlfriend,  I’m sorry I never loved you”

“Chen Xu, she’s pregnant”

“Chen Xu, you were just a plaything to me”

“Chen Xu…..

‘Bang bang’

“CHEN XU!”

Chen Xu opened his eyes abruptly. His chest moved up and down with heavy and shaky breaths. He rubbed his chest with one hand as his other hand moved to brush through his messy and tangled hair.

The banging on the door to the room continued. Chen Xu propped his body up on his elbow with some difficulty and climbed out of his bed, heading to the door with weak steps.

With a ‘click’, the door opened.

“Meng-“

Before he could call out the other party’s name, he received a heavy blow to his face. He stumbled back and fell against the bed hurting his hips, back and already injured thigh.

Meng He entered the room with large strides and crouched down with one knee support and grabbed Chen Xu’s neck.

“M-meng He….”

“WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU SAY TO AH-MEI?”

Chen Xu grabbed Meng He’s hand which was clenching his neck as he tried to clear his vision, which was blocked by some psychological tears.

“What…what are y-y-you talk-k-king ab-bout…” He said in a hoarse voice, his hand still trying to break off Meng He’ grip on his neck.

But the other party obviously had sturdy muscles, and  Chen Xu’s strength was nothing in comparison to his.

Meng He gritted out from  between his teeth, “Just why the hell do you have to upset her? You know she’s pregnant and you told her she disgusts you?”

“But I-I-I didn’t…didn’t s-say it, rea-…really…” Chen Xu said in a disbelieving tone with wide eyes.

“FUCK, YOU FUCKING DICKHEAD, JUST FUCKING STAY AWAY FROM HER!” Meng He’s grip on his neck tightened. Chen Xu’s face turned paler and his eyes grew red with blood veins.

Meng He didn’t let go of his neck until he heard the ringing of his phone.

Meng He fished out his phone from his pocket and when he looked at the caller’s name, his eyes became gentle and he let go of Chen Xu subconsciously.

Chen Xu coughed and rubbed his burning hot neck.

“Hello, meimei,” his tone was as gentle as a feather and if some outsider looked at him they would surely never think that this man was the same as the  “fierce scumbag”, Meng He, the appearance he had revealed just moments ago.

Chen Xu stared at the other’s unsurprisingly gentle expression and gave a low laugh, this kind of duplicity was usual to him!

Meng He left, as if nothing had happened.

Chen Xu supported himself with the bed and stood with frail legs, feeling tired.

He looked at the opened door into the lonely corridor, which had come to echo the loneliness of his life. He turned and limped towards the full-length  mirror.

Chen Xu scanned the body in the mirror, which looked gloomy and dishevelled. His clipped back falling strands of hair were messy, his cheek was blue and swollen from the heavy punch, and his neck had five reddish and purplish fingerprints. His nightshirt slid down his shoulder, revealing a chest with a well defined slender collarbone. He touched his neck and hissed in pain, it still had the burning sensation from earlier.

He came back to his senses when he felt a wetness on his thighs. Looking down he saw redness spreading like ink across the cloth of his pyjamas. The cut from earlier had opened.

However, Chen Xu didn’t bother to change his clothes or tend to the wound. He walked back and let himself fall onto the bed, hoping that the would let him have a few hours of rest from the torment he couldn’t seem to escape.

Synopsis:

After Ruan Qingyuan died, he discovered that he was one of the many evil supporting characters in a novel about a filthy rich sugar baby.

In this novel, the protagonist that everyone pampered was his father’s illegitimate child Bai Yunshu.

Bai Yunshu, the delicate, pitiful, beautiful and naive male lead and shou, naturally came with a mesmerizing aura that could charm thousands.

Ruan Qingyuan’s boyfriend was madly in love with him; The triad member couldn’t help but fall in love with him; the senior president of the pharmaceutical company was so in love with him that he was willing to humble himself

Wherever Bai Yunshu went, he easily could find a crowd of admirers.

Only Ruan Qingyuan opposed him in all matters, trying to sabotage him and drive him out of the house. In the end, his dad and boyfriend worked together to send him to prison.

After his rebirth, Ruan Qingyuan breezily handed over a DNA test report to his heartless tr*shy father,. “Sorry, my dad’s dead.”

Faced with his boyfriend’s cheating, Ruan Qingyuan only had this to say: This shitty guy and this bit*h can stay together forever, just lock them up together.

Dumped by his boyfriend and thrown out by his family, Ruan Qingyuan became the abandoned child that everyone gossiped about. After that—

Ruan Qingyuan held the DNA test report and walked into the richest family in the area.

Crazy rich older brother: “Ah my cute little brother, welcome home!”

Eccentric scientist older brother: My baby brother, why are you so thin!? The Ruan Family must have bullied you!!

Bad-tempered little brother: Who dares to harm my older brother, I’ll have your heads!!!

Ruan Qingyuan smiled faintly. The future is unpredictable indeed. “No need to bother with the Ruan family, let me handle them.”
